9.5  Mercury

• Mercury: In 2006 Mercury produced the Mariner Hybrid. The vehicle was very similar to the Ford Escape hybrid (see Green Cars, Section 9.3).
  
  
• In September 2006 a “Presidential Edition” of the Mercury Mariner Hybrid was delivered to Bill Clinton, the former president of the United States.
