The Nethercutt Collection & Museum will be appreciated by fans of vintage cars. In one place, near Los Angeles, there is an impressive collection of antique, vintage, classic and postwar cars from the early 20th century. Only about 50 models are on display, but the museum counts 250 cars in its collection. Famous brands such as Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet can be seen among the exhibits, but most of the collection includes more luxury models such as Packard, Bentley, Cadillac, Bugatti, Pierce-Arrow, Lincoln, Duisenberg, Cord, Auburn and several Rolls Royce. All of them are in excellent condition and immaculately cared for, and all cars are on the run, as on the day when they were brought to the museum. A special place in the presented collection belongs to rare automobile emblems, spare parts and accessories, as well as various miniatures of antique vehicles. It was opened in 1971.

Although little known, the museum impresses even indifferent visitors to the automotive industry. The impeccably restored models are masterpieces of technical progress and praise the power of engineering. One can scrutinize every detail of a car forever – they are so unique and inimitable. Not for nothing collectors from all over the world are ready to lay out a tidy sum to get the coveted object of adoration. To be the owner of a vintage car has always been prestigious and epatage.

The museum belongs to a private businessman in the cosmetics industry George Nethercutt. Together with his wife Dorothy, he decided to invest a large sum of money to create one of the finest collections of classic cars in the world. The beginning was in 1950. The museum consists of several buildings, but you will need the help of a guide to get around them all. Visiting hours here are strictly limited and to see more, you need to sign up in advance for a tour with a local guide (Thursday through Saturday, twice a day, at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.).

The museum also offers a look at antique furniture and mechanical musical instruments, such as an organ harness, a mechanical piano and a Wurlitzer organ with five thousand pipes. For admirers of organ music, the museum periodically organizes concerts and silent movie evenings to the accompaniment of the organ.

The final, no less grandiose moment of the museum visit is the early 20th century train, located in the open area of the museum. Anyone can go inside the passenger car and see how the different classes of cars of that time were arranged.

The museum, library, tours and concerts are absolutely free for everyone – just check their schedule and get to the museum.

Address: 15151 Bledsoe St., Sylmar, CA 91342

One of the largest, privately owned automobile museums in the United States. The Deser Collection opened its doors to the public in 2012 and has remained one of Miami’s most unusual and visited museums ever since, throughout the years that followed. Besides the automobiles that make up the majority of the exhibit, the Dezer Collection features rare models of scooters and motorcycles as well as several examples of military vehicles.

The Dezer Collection was created by Michael Dezer, an American-Israeli development and construction businessman and close associate of current U.S. president Ronald Trump. Dezer is known for his investments in construction projects in Miami and New York City.

The Dezer Collection Automotive Museum counts a total of more than one thousand cars

Michael began his fascination with machinery and cars in honesty, at the age of 16. When his father gave him a bright red Vespa scooter for his birthday, which was a rarity in those years. At first, Michael began to take an interest in motor vehicles, and after earning his first, substantial funds, he became interested in rare cars.

During that period, the young man decided to purchase the most unusual and rare models, and thus became one of the first retro-car collectors of the city of Miami. Over the decades, Dezer added to his collection of cars, both local and foreign-made. When the collection was modest in size, it fit in a few of his garages.

But, over time, the collection grew to a truly large scale, forcing Michael to purchase a plot of land and start building a special building where he could house all of his cars. Now the museum of the Deser Collection is located on over 25,000 square meters.

The area accommodates retro cars, cars ever captured in various feature films, and cars that seemed interesting to the famous billionaire for a reason known to him alone. The Deser Collection Museum offers its visitors a glimpse of cars of any modification and year of manufacture, in four different exhibitions.

First and foremost, it is worth mentioning the exhibit called the Hollywood Collection. Here, as the name implies, there are about 80 vehicles that were used in famous movies and TV shows. The museum owns cars from such blockbusters as “The Time Machine,” “Batman” and many others.

There is a separate exposition called “James Bond Collection”. After all, throughout the Bond movies, at all times, the public and especially specialists have always been particularly interested in the brand of car used by the main character.

And how much Aston Martin company paid for such playment product, it is only worth guessing. The “James Bond Collection” is one of the most impressive and expensive expositions of the museum. The exhibit is dedicated to the Bondiana, and includes cars, helicopters, “Bond” boats, motorcycles and even snowmobiles.

The museum also has an impressive classic collection, which includes a huge number of retro cars for the public. Studying them you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the early 20th century, look at early versions of vehicles that were prototypes of modern cars. In this section of the museum’s collection there is a rare Duesenberg X of 1927.

The museum has a separate collection of European cars. It highlights the achievements of international companies that were innovators at the time in the production of cars. There are the oldest but fully restored models of such brands as Audi, Mercedes, Citroen and many others, including one of the first Moskvich models.

Among other things, in the exposition of the automobile museum Deser you can see a rare collection of military vehicles, as well as a variety of scooters, motorcycles, scooters and bicycles. The earliest electrically powered cars are also on display.

The Car Museum gives you the opportunity to see with your own eyes the cars of any manufacturer from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. The doors of this popular Miami attraction are open to visitors daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The cost of a ticket for one adult is $25. Seniors are offered a $10 discount off the standard cost. The discount for children under 12 is $15.

The Imperial Palace Las Vegas hotel-casino opened in 1979, and compared to the more modern themed hotels, it looks somewhat unpresentable. But despite its simple appearance for Las Vegas, the living conditions in it are decent enough, the hotel class is three stars. The hotel is decorated in the Asian style and is very popular among tourists. The location of Imperial Palace is very good, it is located on the main street of Las Vegas – Strip Street. It’s a neighborhood of Flamingo, Caesars Palace, and Harrah’s, and the famous sing-alongs are all within arm’s reach.

The entertainment provided by the Imperial Palace hotel-casino leads the way on Las Vegas’ main boulevard. Dealers at the casino imitate Hollywood stars, playing with Elvis Presley, Cher, Dolly Parton and other celebrities.

In pursuit of luxury

The Imperial Palace hotel has the largest antique car museum, located on the fifth floor of the Self Parking Garage. The exhibits of this museum are the retro models of cars, numbering about 300 pieces. All of them are for sale, but the prices can not be called affordable, the cost of exhibits ranges from twenty thousand dollars to five million for the most rare models. Despite the high price, on average, one car a day is sold, so the collection is constantly changing and supplemented.

Here you can see the Mercedes-Benz that belonged to Adolf Hitler. It will be interesting to see the 1935 Packard owned by Emperor Hirohoto of Japan and the 1962 Lincoln Transparent Roof, driven by John F. Kennedy.

A visit to such a museum is an exceptional opportunity not to be missed; nowhere else is there such a unique collection. Also, once in Nevada, the Bonnie Springs Old Nevada Family Park is a must-see for a 19th century style street theater performance.

The town of Hershey, Pennsylvania, is known to every candy lover – it was there that the famous chocolate factory was built in 1903. But if it’s every child’s dream to visit this factory, there’s another “tidbit” for adults in Hershey: the Antique Car Museum. Although small, the museum is very famous in America and one of the top ten in the entire country. It’s also part of the Smithsonian Institute, a group of some of the best themed museums in America. It features restored cars, buses, and motorcycles. Several times a year the museum has special exhibitions dedicated to either a particular year or a particular vehicle. Perhaps all of this has played a role in the fact that the museum is also on the list of the top twelve automobile museums in the world.

The popularity of the museum is understandable – Americans love and appreciate things of historical value, and America’s roads and American cars are a fetish in themselves, to which Hollywood filmmakers have devoted quite a few films. In addition, in times of crisis, family values have come back into fashion. And it’s so nice to show kids the late thirties Rolls-Royce, which may well have been driven by their grandfather-to-be. After all, ordinary Americans donate old cars to the museum’s exhibit.

The permanent exhibit has about 150 cars – all donated by Americans for free. As in any museum, there are its own “stars” here, only on wheels. A separate corner is dedicated to a tanker that belonged to the Atlantic Refining Company in the 1930s. It carried gasoline, but during the 1936 flood the owners donated it to the state – and it was used to deliver free drinking water to the citizens of Harrisburg. Then the truck was going to be scrapped, but enthusiasts bought it back and put it back in full working order – in any case, the truck came “on its own” to the museum for the exhibition.

Also several times a year, the museum holds themed exhibitions, devoted either to trucks, or passenger transport. Now, for example, visitors can learn all about motorcycles, and in the fall there was an exhibition “Auto and Ale”, which, in addition to old cars, featured quite modern products of Pennsylvania breweries.

Charity work is widespread in America, it is an honorable occupation and is welcomed in every possible way. So the founders of the museum every fall organize an exhibition “Food and Toy” – vintage trucks are removed from the premises and set on the entrance to the building. Visitors are encouraged to fill the trucks with toys, canned goods and even gift cards for a variety of amounts for families in need. Exactly the same action takes place closer to Christmas so that children from poor families will have toys under the Christmas tree.
